I also think that after modern warfare: remastered which came bundled with infinite warfare, activision doesn't want to split multiplayer community. Frankly, I would have preferred the mw trilogy (cod 4, mw2, mw3) being remastered together as one big game of campaign mode and also merging all the maps and all the weapons in multiplayer, using mw3's pointstreak and perk system.
